WHAT A GREAT WEEK OF SWIMMING!!!

This term, we have focussed on BEING COURTEOUS. To learn about this, we have been role playing different scenarios. This has been a great way for children to get to know each other. It has also linked in well with our first two 'Habits of Mind' - Listening and Working With Others.

We are practising......

1. saying please and thank you.

2. waiting quietly when we want to speak to an adult.

3. putting up our hand when we want to say something.

4. thanking somebody if they have helped you.

5. trying to greet people with their name.

6. how to go into another classroom when the class is working.

7. how to approach a teacher when you want something.
